Art show Exhibits to enter

I recently submitted works to 2 juried art shows. One was the Oil Pastel Society’s Members’ Only show which will be online in late June.

The other is an all-media show by the South Cobb Arts Alliance in Mableton, GA. This is the first show where I’ve had to make slides of my work for submission. Using the images I took with my digital camera, I sent the files off to iprintfromhome.com which was fairly inexpensive and easy to use.

I sent my submissions off last week.
I sent one oil painting (“Fountain Dancers”) and two oil pastel paintings (“Pick Me Up” & “Waiting for Sushi”)

I should hear sometime the second week of June whether I made it into the show.

While I was looking around the internet for juried art shows into which I could submit oil pastels, I found a number of shows.

Here is a very helpful index site for shows that I found:

Ann! These are wonderful. I love the color and vitality and I'd love to know how you got all that texture in the water! Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather tomorrow!
